License, support & refunds.
One production website. 12 months of email support and released updates. A voluntary 14-day refund promise.
Single Website license
SUPPER COMMERCIAL LICENSE — SINGLE WEBSITE License version 1.0 — 29 October 2026 Copyright (c) 2026 Atelier Themes. All rights reserved in original theme code. Contact: contact@atelierthemes.com
1. PARTIES AND PURCHASE
This license governs the original Supper theme code, templates, styles and documentation supplied by Atelier Themes ("we"). The license holder ("you") is the purchaser identified in a valid order from Atelier Themes or an authorized seller. The seller's legal identity and contact details are those stated on the order receipt and at checkout. This license grants rights only after a valid purchase or an express written license grant from Atelier Themes. Possession of a ZIP file alone does not establish a license.
The license version supplied with your purchase applies to that purchase. A later policy change does not retroactively reduce the rights already granted. Any separately agreed written commercial terms must identify the order and the provisions they replace.
2. ONE PRODUCTION WEBSITE
Each purchased license grants a non-exclusive, worldwide right to install and use Supper for one production website, for your own business or one client. A production website is one independently operated Ghost publication. Domain aliases and redirects serving that same publication count as the same website. A separate publication requires a separate license, even if it uses a subdomain of the same domain, the same server, company or Ghost hosting account.
You may keep unlimited private backup copies and local, development, preview and staging installations used solely to build, test or maintain that licensed website. A public staging preview must not operate as a second live publication. You may move the licensed website between hosts or domains without purchasing again, provided the old installation ceases operating as a separate production website. A temporary overlap solely for migration is allowed.
3. PERMITTED USE AND MODIFICATION
You may use the licensed website for personal, commercial, advertising-funded or paid-membership publishing. No per-reader, traffic or revenue fee is charged under this license. Ghost, hosting, payment and other service fees are separate.
You may edit the theme's templates, CSS, JavaScript, translations and assets for the licensed website, and hire employees or contractors to do so. Give access only as needed for that work; those recipients must not reuse or redistribute the theme. You remain responsible for their use of your licensed copy.
You retain rights in your own content and original additions. Those rights do not grant permission to distribute the underlying Supper code as a theme. Keep copyright and third-party license notices in distributed source copies. No visible Atelier Themes credit is required on the licensed website.
Serving the theme's browser-delivered assets as part of the licensed website is permitted. This does not authorize distribution of the installable theme or reuse of its proprietary code in another website or product.
4. CLIENT HANDOVER
An agency or freelancer may buy a license for one client website and charge for design, installation and customization services. You may permanently transfer the entire license to that client, or to a new owner of the same licensed website, by notifying contact@atelierthemes.com with the order reference and obtaining the recipient's agreement to this license. Transfer only the information needed to identify the order and recipient; never send passwords.
The transfer includes the website's theme copy and any remaining update/support period; it does not restart that period. After handover, you may retain a copy only for maintaining that client's website as their contractor, or as a private archive. You may not reuse the transferred license for another client or site. Standalone resale of the license or theme is not permitted.
5. RESTRICTIONS
Except for the uses expressly allowed above, you may not:
- Share, upload, sell, rent, sublicense, give away or redistribute the theme ZIP or proprietary source, whether modified or unmodified.
- Place the proprietary theme source in a public repository or download service.
- Repackage Supper, or substantial portions of its proprietary code, as another theme, template, starter kit, builder library or product offered to others.
- Include Supper in a multi-customer hosting service, theme club, subscription library or other service that lets multiple independent websites use one license. Buy a separate license for each production website instead.
- Share purchase credentials or use another customer's order to obtain updates or support.
These restrictions do not override rights granted by the separate licenses of third-party components, or rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
6. UPDATES AND CONTINUED USE
The purchase includes access to Supper updates that we make generally available to customers during the 12 months following the original purchase date. This includes fixes and compatibility releases we issue for supported Ghost versions; it does not promise a release schedule, a future feature, a future major Ghost version or indefinite maintenance of every historical theme version.
You may keep using theme versions lawfully received under this license after the update period ends, subject to this license. Your website is not disabled because update/support access expires. Keep a backup of your downloaded files; permanent re-download availability is not promised.
Renewing update/support access is optional and requires a separate purchase at the price disclosed before renewal. This license creates no automatic renewal or recurring charge. If no renewal offer is available, continued use of copies already received remains permitted.
7. SUPPORT
The purchase includes 12 months of email support from the original purchase date through contact@atelierthemes.com. SUPPORT.md explains the included scope, supported environment and information needed to investigate an issue. Support covers installation guidance, documented settings and reproducible defects in the original theme; it does not include custom development, server management or operation of third-party services. No guaranteed response or resolution deadline is included. Transferring a license does not extend its support period.
8. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS AND CONTENT
The commercial restrictions apply to original Atelier Themes theme code and customer documentation, not independently licensed components or content. Those separate licenses remain in force and take precedence for that material.
No font binaries, demo photographs, Ghost engine or native Search, Portal or Comments application bundles are included in the installable theme ZIP. System fonts are used by default; fonts selected through Ghost Brand or an external provider remain subject to their own licenses. Installing Supper does not grant hosting, payment, email or other third-party services.
The complete product includes a separate optional demo-content ZIP. Its 19 photographs are supplied under CC0 1.0, as identified in that package's CREDITS.html and LICENSES.txt. The original sample prose may be copied, modified and published with your website under the grant in LICENSES.txt. Those rights are independent of this Single Website theme license: do not impose the theme's commercial redistribution restrictions on the CC0 photographs or revoke their separate permissions after a theme refund. The photographs are illustrative; their creators did not test or endorse the sample recipes or Atelier Themes. No staff accounts, members, private database or payment data are included.
Documentation may contain real Ghost Admin screenshots and theme/demo captures. They illustrate the product and do not grant ownership of Ghost's trademarks or separately licensed material. THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt explains this boundary.
9. WARRANTY, LIABILITY AND MANDATORY RIGHTS
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the theme is provided "as is" without additional warranties, including uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose or compatibility with every third-party service. You are responsible for backups and testing changes before production use.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Atelier Themes is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost revenue or lost data arising from use of the theme. Any aggregate liability arising from this license is limited to the amount paid for the affected theme license, except where the law prohibits that limitation.
Nothing in this license excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Refund and cancellation information must be disclosed separately at checkout; this license does not create a blanket no-refund policy or replace those mandatory rights.
10. BREACH AND TERMINATION
If you materially breach this license, we may give written notice describing the breach and allow 30 days to correct it. If it remains uncorrected, we may terminate the license by written notice. On termination, stop using and remove the proprietary theme copies, except records you must retain by law. Termination does not cancel any non-excludable statutory rights. Expiry of the update or support period alone is not a breach and does not terminate the usage license.
11. QUESTIONS
For additional websites, client handover, licensing questions or written permission for uses outside this license, email contact@atelierthemes.com.
Support and updates
Supper support and update policy
Policy version 1.0 — 29 October 2026.
Each Single Website license includes 12 months of email support and access to released updates, starting on the original purchase date. The usage license continues after that period. Renewal is optional; there is no automatic renewal or recurring charge under the license. Read [LICENSE.txt](LICENSE.txt) for the complete terms.
Included support
- Guidance for uploading and activating Supper, installing its routes, following the optional demo-import guide, and configuring the features described in the documentation.
- Help using the included design options, colors, typography, navigation and supported Ghost content layouts.
- Investigation of reproducible defects in the original theme, including layout, accessibility and compatibility issues within its supported environment.
- Guidance for installing a released theme update and determining whether an issue belongs to the theme or a separate service.
We may ask you to reproduce an issue on an unmodified copy in staging. We can help identify a problem around custom changes, but implementing or maintaining those changes is outside included support. A defect in the original theme remains within scope even when it was first discovered on a customized site.
Supported environment
The package's `engines.ghost` field states its declared Ghost requirement. Supper 0.7.4 declares Ghost 6.x support and was validated with Ghost 6.72.0. A future major Ghost release is not automatically covered until expressly supported in a theme release. Browser issues can be reported for the current and previous stable releases of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge; this support scope is not a claim that every release has already been tested. The included review notes identify the versions actually checked.
Please use maintained Ghost and browser releases. We may ask you to reproduce an issue on the latest compatible Ghost patch release and a current browser before we can investigate it further. A fix may be delivered in a newer theme version rather than backported to every previous version.
Outside included support
- Custom designs, new features, bespoke templates, code changes and merging your changes into updates.
- Ghost installation, server maintenance, deployment, DNS, SSL, backups, database administration and content migration.
- Configuring or operating SMTP, newsletter delivery, Stripe, payment accounts, subscription billing or tax services.
- Third-party integrations, injected scripts, external font providers or modifications to Ghost itself.
- Writing, editing, translating or performing content migration/import on your behalf. Guidance for the supplied demo package and reproducible defects in that package remain included.
- Guaranteed uptime, emergency incident response, security monitoring or a guaranteed response/resolution deadline.
We will try to direct you to relevant documentation when a request falls outside theme support. This does not include completing that external work.
How to request help
Email contact@atelierthemes.com with:
1. Your order reference, purchase email and licensed website URL. 2. Your Supper version, Ghost version, browser/version and screen size. 3. The affected page, expected behavior and steps to reproduce the issue. 4. A screenshot or short recording when useful, and whether the issue occurs with an unmodified theme.
Do not email passwords, API keys, payment details, member lists or a database export. Remove private information from screenshots and logs. If access is needed, we will agree on the minimum access and a safe method separately.
Updates and renewals
During the 12-month entitlement period, you may obtain updates released for Supper through the delivery method provided with your order. Follow the update instructions in the documentation and back up direct code changes first. New feature development and a fixed release schedule are not promised.
After the period ends, you may continue using versions you lawfully received. Further updates and individual support require a new entitlement if one is offered; its price and duration must be disclosed before purchase. An agency-to-client transfer preserves the original expiry date.
For the same purchase, this policy cannot reduce rights granted by its accompanying license. Mandatory statutory rights and remedies remain unaffected by the end of the contractual support period.
Recipe and native-app boundaries
The theme supplies presentation and reader tools. Recipe testing, food safety, nutrition advice, automatic Recipe JSON-LD, unit conversion and bespoke dietary filters are not included services. Sample recipes are illustrative and must be reviewed before production publication.
Ghost owns authentication, email delivery, account access and Comments behavior. The guide documents the clean Ghost 6.72.0 SQLite six-digit-code finding and the embedded app-browser Comments finding; working email-link sign-in is a separate path. Reporting a native-platform issue is welcome, but this policy does not promise a Ghost-core fix or an untested production flow.
Refunds and cancellation
Supper Refund & Cancellation Policy Policy version 1.0 — 29 October 2026
A straightforward 14-day refund promise for your Supper theme purchase, alongside the rights you have under applicable law.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to purchases of the Supper Ghost theme made directly from Atelier Themes when this policy is presented as part of the order. Supper is a digital download licensed for one production Ghost publication. The purchase includes 12 months of access to released updates and email support, as described in the accompanying commercial license and support policy.
This policy covers your purchase of the theme. It does not govern subscriptions sold to readers on a Ghost website, Ghost hosting, domain registrations, SMTP services, Stripe accounts or other third-party purchases. If you buy through an authorized reseller or a merchant of record, use the refund channel identified on your receipt; that seller handles payment processing and any additional terms it disclosed before purchase. Nothing here reduces rights granted by that seller or by applicable law.
2. Our 14-day refund promise
If Supper is not right for you, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the original purchase. This applies even if you have downloaded, installed, tested or customized the theme. You do not need to prove a defect or complete troubleshooting to use this promise. A reason is optional and helps us improve the product.
The request must be sent within 14 days of the purchase timestamp shown on your order confirmation. We use the time your request was sent, not the time we read or process it. Keep a copy of your request. This voluntary promise is in addition to your statutory rights, which may apply for longer.
3. Canceling an order
Before payment is completed, you can leave checkout without placing an order. If you see a pending card authorization but no completed order, contact us or the payment provider shown at checkout so we can check its status; a pending authorization is not the same as a captured payment.
If payment has already completed, email contact@atelierthemes.com to cancel the purchase and request a refund under this policy. Digital delivery may happen immediately, so we cannot promise to stop delivery before your message arrives. Receiving the download does not remove our 14-day refund promise.
4. Duplicate payments and delivery problems
If you were charged twice for the same intended purchase, contact us with the order references. We will refund a verified duplicate charge. If two separate license orders were created by mistake, we will also refund the unused extra license. These requests are not limited to the voluntary 14-day period. A separate license intentionally used for another website is not a duplicate payment.
If you do not receive your files or cannot access the supplied download, contact us so we can restore delivery. If we cannot deliver the purchased product, we will refund the affected order. You may instead use the 14-day promise without waiting for troubleshooting, and any statutory right to a remedy remains available.
5. Defects and requests after 14 days
After the voluntary 14-day period, we do not ordinarily offer a refund solely because you changed your mind. This does not limit refunds for verified duplicate payments, non-delivery, an additional written promise made with your order or any remedy required by applicable law.
If the theme is faulty, materially differs from its description or does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, contact us with details. We will provide the remedy required by the law that applies to your purchase, which may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Where the law gives you a choice of remedy, that choice remains yours. Mandatory rights are not subject to our 14-day limit or the 12-month support period.
We may ask for reasonable information to understand a reported defect. You are not required to disclose passwords, private member data or unrestricted server access. Custom changes do not automatically disqualify a claim concerning a defect in the original theme.
6. How to request a refund
Email contact@atelierthemes.com with the subject “Supper refund request”. Include your order number or receipt reference and the email address used for the purchase. If you cannot find the order number, contact us with the information you have so we can help locate it.
For a claim about duplicate billing or a technical defect, include a brief description and relevant order references or reproduction steps. A reason is not required for a request under the 14-day promise. Do not send a full card number, password, API key, member list or database export. Redact private details from screenshots.
We will confirm the outcome by email. If we decline a request, we will explain why and you may reply with additional information. You do not need to use a particular form to exercise a statutory cancellation or refund right.
7. How refunds are paid
An approved full refund returns the amount paid for the affected order, including seller-collected taxes that must be returned. We do not charge a refund administration or restocking fee. Refunds are normally sent to the original payment method through the seller or payment processor identified on the receipt. We will not substitute store credit without your agreement.
For our voluntary refunds, we aim to initiate the refund within five business days after confirming eligibility and locating the payment. Any shorter legal deadline takes priority. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the credit. We will provide confirmation when the refund is initiated. Exchange-rate differences or fees charged independently by your bank are outside our control; this does not reduce amounts we are legally required to refund.
8. Your license after a refund
When a full refund of the original theme purchase is processed, the usage license and update/support entitlement attached to that order end. Stop using the proprietary Supper theme on the licensed website and its staging copies, and remove the proprietary installable copies and backups you control, except records that must be kept by law. You may replace the theme and retain your own posts, images, publication data and independently created content.
You may retain independently licensed third-party components under their own licenses. A refund does not revoke their separate license rights. We do not disable your Ghost account or take ownership of your content.
If the license was handed over to a client or a new owner of the same website, coordinate the refund with them: that transferred license ends too. A refund affects only the refunded license, not other valid licenses you hold. A partial refund or price reduction does not end your license unless expressly agreed and lawful. Statutory rules take priority if they require a different outcome.
9. Updates, support and renewal purchases
Supper is a one-time theme purchase with 12 months of included updates and support. There is no automatic recurring charge under the commercial license. You do not need to cancel a subscription to prevent a renewal fee.
At the end of those 12 months, you may continue using versions you lawfully received. Expiry alone does not create a refund entitlement, end the usage license or disable the website. You may choose a separate update/support renewal if one is offered.
If you separately purchase a renewal under this policy, its payment has its own 14-day refund period. A full refund of that renewal cancels only the additional update/support entitlement purchased with it; it does not cancel your original unrefunded usage license or entitlements remaining from an earlier unrefunded purchase. No new update downloads or support may be obtained under the refunded renewal. Copies lawfully received before the refund remain subject to your original usage license.
10. Statutory cancellation and consumer rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces rights that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights concerning faulty or misdescribed digital content, non-delivery and any applicable cooling-off or withdrawal period. If mandatory law gives you a longer period or a different remedy, that law takes priority.
We do not treat a download, installation or acceptance of general terms alone as a waiver of a statutory withdrawal right. Where applicable law permits a separate valid consent process for immediate digital delivery, any effect of that consent must be explained and recorded separately at checkout. It does not remove remedies for defective content or our voluntary 14-day refund promise.
This policy does not require you to waive access to your payment provider, a consumer authority, a court or another lawful dispute-resolution route. You may contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
11. Policy version and related terms
The policy supplied with your purchase applies to that purchase. Later changes do not retroactively reduce the refund rights you were offered. The Supper Single Website commercial license governs use of the theme; this policy adds the rules for cancellation, refunds and the effect of a refund on that license. Mandatory rights always take priority.
For licensing, support, cancellation or refund questions, contact contact@atelierthemes.com. The seller’s legal identity and other required business details must be shown at checkout and on your receipt.
Third-party notices
SUPPER — THIRD-PARTY NOTICES Version 0.7.4 — 29 October 2026
The installable theme supplies original Atelier Themes templates, CSS and JavaScript under LICENSE.txt. No font binaries, demo photographs, Ghost engine or native Search/Portal/Comments bundles are included. The default CSS references system fonts; native Brand font selection and Ghost applications remain separately licensed software/services. Ghost's names and marks belong to their respective owners; no endorsement is implied.
The complete customer product includes a separate demo ZIP with 19 CC0 photographs. CREDITS.html, LICENSES.txt and the imported Photo credits page identify each creator, source file and CC0 link. Original sample prose has the independent reuse grant in demo-data/LICENSES.txt. The commercial theme license does not restrict these separately permitted uses. Photographs are illustrative and may show different preparations. The creators did not test or endorse the sample recipes.
The HTML guide includes unedited real Ghost Admin screenshots and theme captures. Ghost Admin is separately licensed software; screenshots illustrate settings, not an ownership claim or permission to redistribute Ghost itself. The editor-starter.png, editor-facts.png and recipe-mobile.png images in documentation/assets/images are historic authoring QA captures supplied as documentation illustrations. Reusable photo assets are provided separately in the CC0 demo pack. Use the separate CC0 demo pack for reusable photographs. No portrait or third-party photograph is separately sold as an original Atelier Themes asset.
Customer-uploaded content, external embeds, logos, fonts and integrations remain the website owner's responsibility. Separate licenses and mandatory rights take precedence over these commercial theme terms.
