SUPPER 0.7.4 — OPTIONAL DEMO IMPORT Use on a new or staging Ghost 6 site. Back up an existing publication first. Import publishes sample content immediately. Do not use on a live audience without reviewing it. 1. Install and activate supper-0.7.4.zip under Settings > Site > Theme > Change theme > Upload theme (labels may vary by Ghost version). 2. In Settings > Advanced > Import/Export, open Universal import (wording may vary), choose supper-demo-0.7.4.zip and import the ZIP unchanged. Do not upload it as a theme or import export.json alone: the ZIP includes local photos. 3. Ghost may display Import in progress. Got it closes that message without cancelling. Wait for completion; do not re-upload while waiting. Confirm 12 recipes, 2 journal posts and 2 imported pages. Tags include #supper-demo for identifying the imported content. Native Ghost assigns content to your current owner; no staff account is imported. 4. Upload the supplied routes.yaml in Settings > Advanced > Labs > Routes > More routes actions (three dots) > Upload file. Use Download file there to back up your current routes. Preserve and adapt any existing custom routes first. 5. Configure primary navigation: Recipes /recipes/, Kitchen journal /journal/, Our table /about/. Optional secondary navigation: Photo credits /photo-credits/. Navigation, Brand, theme settings and email are intentionally not imported. 6. If an About page already exists, Ghost may import Our table with slug about-2. Preserve or rename the existing About page, then change the imported Our table slug to about. Review duplicate slugs after import. Draft the default Coming soon post if you do not want it in Kitchen journal. 7. Keep the supplied internal tags: #recipe for every recipe, #seasonal and #weeknight for Home pools, #journal for journal cards. The hero and latest recipes use #recipe without the seasonal/weeknight tags. Defaults show all intended Home blocks. 8. Update your own staff profile name, bio and portrait; logo, Brand fonts, theme settings, Portal, transactional email and subscription plans require normal Ghost setup. No member, email, payment or administrator credentials are imported. 9. One recipe is Members only and one is Paid members only to demonstrate access gates. They do not create a paid plan or Stripe connection. Set them to Public if you do not need gated examples. 10. Before launching, replace demo prose, review recipes and cooking facts, and check CREDITS.html and LICENSES.txt. The photographs are illustrative CC0 assets and may show different preparations. Import once. Re-importing may create duplicate posts and suffixed slugs; it is not an update or synchronization mechanism. To remove demo content, identify posts by #supper-demo, review imported pages separately, delete only verified samples, and retain shared tags/images if your own content uses them. A backup restores a site more reliably than manually undoing a bulk import. Package contents: export.json, 19 JPEG images, CREDITS.html, LICENSES.txt, README.txt. No database, users, members, comments, site settings, mailing list or payment data. Photos are packaged locally, not hotlinked.
